Some examples to answer “ why should we hire you”
1 Here’s my case for why you should hire me. I’m a self-starter with a knack for organisation, and I’m looking to take my ability and organisational skills to the next step. One way I’ve shown my ability to succeed is by organising events in the past. I’ve never been personally involved with an event that didn’t run smoothly — and they’ve been some large events! If you want an organised co-worker who always gets things done on time, hire me!
2. Hey, I’m Jared and I’m applying for the event coordinator position. I see that you’re looking for someone with experience in the kitchen. Usually, most people struggle to find candidates who are familiar with dense operations such as yours. I’ve veered away from these types of positions in my previous workplace, but my experiences at my previous workplace will ensure your closing times run smoothly.
3. Why should you hire me for this position? Well, there’s my proven ability to maintain strong interpersonal relationships with several clients. I am passionate about providing care to those in need in my community, which keeps me motivated and excited about doing my best work. I understand you need a candidate who can be consistently available for events in clients’ lives (weddings, birthday parties, funerals). Clients need someone to help out when they have an important event or meeting. They will love me because I’m reliable and easy to work with. Hope that helps!
It’s never too late to secure a position you want, especially if you are the most qualified. However, winning over the interviewer is not so easy. You should be ready to make the best impression. And that’s why the meaning of your answer should be professional and relevant to the company.
