We people are about to experience the next-gen of industrial revolution “Industry 4.0”. But, we failed to control the waste generated from the industries. A positive Displacement Pump is the best choice for any firm to treat wastewater.

Water is still the main resource to develop a product in major industries. The concentrated wastewater impacts the environment and thus leads to the major cause of mishandling. 

In this current situation, many industrial firms started to install and implement wastewater treatment plants.

The change in management practices is highly welcomed and appreciated. Adding extra machinery to the factory is insufficient to get the best out of it. Wastewater is generated at different stages of the product life cycle. 

Thereby the type and chemical properties of the wastewater differ. A positive displacement pump is widely used as it is suitable for pumping waste generated at different stages. 

Firms failed to select the pump which suits their actual requirement. 

Pressure meets Efficiency

Generally, the viscosity of wastewater is high. Hence, it is practically not possible to transfer high viscous fluid within a short time. 

The pump provides the maximum threshold for transferring the fluid to the desired location. Positive Displacement Pump works on the principle of “pressure”. 

Pressure is created in the pipeline and the wastewater is transferred. 

Abrasion Free Fluid Transfer

The pH in the wastewater is comparatively high, due to the abrasion and toxic substances present in the fluid. 

The components in the non-potable water increase the thickness of the fluid. As the thickness level increases, so do the time incurred during the process. 

Displacement Pumps are suitable for transferring fluids consisting of high abrasion. The PD Pump develops uniform pressure to push the wastewater completely. 

Is Centrifugal Pump a Better Choice?

Choosing a centrifugal pump for transferring wastewater is the worst decision. 

Generally, these centrifugal pumps are recommended for transferring low viscosity fluids. 

Using a centrifugal pump for a high viscous fluid leads to low efficiency and pump failure.

Positive Displacement Pump develops reduced vibration throughout the product transfer. This is due to the higher pumping efficiency and potential enough to handle heavy-duty loads of wastewater. 

Backflow of the pumping solution generally occurs when the operation of the pump is stopped. Due to this, the transfer of high viscous fluid becomes incomplete. 

The incomplete transfer of fluids leads to the high maintenance of the pump and the pipeline system. Thereby the idle time of the pump is comparatively high which leads to the decrease in ROI. 

Positive Displacement Pump reduces these sorts of complications. The displacement pump greatly avoids the backflow of the pumping solution. Hence, the complete transfer of wastewater is ensured every time. 

Using these kinds of pumps helps the firm in saving more costs involved in maintenance. 

Ensure NO Clog Formations

As these pumps are highly potential for complete transfer, there is no chance for the formation of clogs due to wastewater. 

The left clogs in the system lead to high pressure and blockage of the fluids. Positive pumping solutions ensure there is no clog formation. 

Hence seamless and consistent high viscosity fluid transfer is achieved.
