NTA has stated that the exam commenced on November 20, 2021, and end on December 27, 2021, as announced by the National Testing Agency. The UGC NET December 2020 and UGC NET June 2021 Exams was held on the same dates, with a total of 12.67 lakh candidates expected to apply. According to NTA, the UGC NET exam will be held in 213 cities across 469 test centres for 81 test papers, with information regarding the venue and centre included on the candidates’ hall tickets.
The UGC NET admit cards are usually released a fortnight to 10 days before the date of the exams.
That said, the UGC NET admit cards can be downloaded from the NTA’s official website anytime from the date of its release to the date of the exam.
Talking about the physical nature or form in which the admit card is required to be carried to the exam halls, you’re required to take a printed copy of your admit card to the exam centre. On your admit card you will have details like your name and application number etc.
Therefore, it is imperative that you download your UGC NET admit card and take a print out of it, as only hard copies of it will be considered to be legitimate by the exam authorities.
To put things in perspective, the UGC NET admit card will basically serve the purpose of validating your presence in the UGC NET exam hall, meaning that the UGC NET admit card is essentially your entry pass to take your UGC NET exam.
With that said let us look at the release dates of the 2021 UGC NET admit cards.
