Why it took me so long to get in touch with them
I had no idea where I should be contacting them. Who I should be contacting, or if anyone from Spirit could even get back to me. The problem is that the contact number spirit airlines page didn’t give me any of that information. This was especially frustrating because my credit card company was urging me to make a report. For fraud and suggesting that perhaps someone on my end had entered. All those extra charges (which were all paid in full by Spirit). So, needless to say…I just needed some answers and didn’t know where else to go. But then I found out they’ve got a Twitter account! After sending off two messages via Twitter and seeing no response (one way communication isn’t ideal), I decided it was time for a personal phone call. So, here we go! First step is to dial their customer service Spirit Airlines 1-888-678-0392.
When you dial, you’ll hear an automated message telling you that calls can only be placed during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 9am – 6pm EST. There are no extensions available but there IS an option to press zero at any point during their message (this will bring you directly into their Live Chat service which also seems like a great resource!). However, as of today 03/29/2022 at 4:42 pm EST there was no one available so I opted not to use that option and instead went ahead with calling them again using another method….good old fashioned voicemail!
Getting my issue resolved was super easy
I was able to contact their Spirit Airlines Phone Number, as I mentioned above. I called at 8am and was pleasantly surprised when someone answered after only three rings. It may not sound like much, but I had spent an hour on hold with United just a few days before so it really made a difference. The representative was very kind and helpful, they solved my problem in just a few minutes and even apologized for any inconvenience it may have caused me!
