Hypertrophic Scars:
They grow on the surface of the skin. Acne causes these scars. These scars are more common in men than women. After a deep wound these scars appeared on the skin.
How they Develop:
Unlike the other two ice pick and boxcar scars. Loss of tissue does not cause Hypertrophic Scars.
Overproduction of collagen are the cause of Hypertrophic Scars.
