The National Club Football Association is an association that represents college American football teams. It is an CollClubSports member and oversees the NCFA National Championship.
NCFA teams are typically operated by clubs of students, not by faculty. They are not part of the institution’s intercollegiate athletics program. Clubs are able to be formed at any post-secondary or university college, as long as they’re officially recognized as clubs football. The Intercollegiate Club Football Federation, (ICFF), recognizes clubs for students that don’t have sponsorship from an official source, as well as independent programs that bring together students from different schools that are otherwise unable to participate in college football. However, the NCFA doesn’t permit clubs to play for championships.
A lot of clubs are part of either the ICFF or NCFA. This is particularly relevant in the midwest and south. There isn’t a huge distinction between them, apart from the Northeast in which a number of NCFA members were ejected from the ICFF’s Yankee conference in the year 2015. The NCFA National Championship Game was held in Salem Football Stadium, Salem, Virginia from 2012 to 2015. The stadium also was the venue for the NCAA Division III Football Championship. From 2016 until 2019, from 2016 to 2019, the NCFA National Championship Game took place at West Family Stadium, West Liberty University’s Wheeling campus.

The venue was relocated to Waynesburg University. This is an ideal site for all teams in the league.
