In 2003, she became the first woman to win a professional world championship in five disciplines: Pot Black, Nine-Ball, Eight-Ball, Snooker, and English Billiards. Katsura has also won numerous other prestigious titles, including European Women’s Snooker Champion (2002), Asian Ladies Billiards Championship (1998), and Japan National Snooker Championship (1996). 

    She is one of only six players to have won all six Professional World Championships titles. Katsura Masako has also been honored with an Olympic gold medal for her performances in women’s snooker at the 2004 Games in Athens.
