The versatile email service Roadrunner is used by a plethora of users for both personal and professional functions. The service is developed and provided by Time Warner Cable (TWC) Internet Service Provider and has made a name for itself because of its seamless operation and ace speed.

Method 1 – Opt for Automatic Configuration on Outlook:
This is a fairly simple step and if it works then you’re good to proceed. For this:
- Launch the MS Outlook program on your desktop;
- Look for the “File” tab on the opening window;
- After that click on “Info”, then click on Account Settings;
- Now click on “Email > New”;
- Now in the “Email Account” section, under the Auto Account Setup Tab, enter the following details:
- Username: Your full name
- Email: Full Roadrunner email address
- Password: Password of your Roadrunner email
- Once you’re done with entering these details, proceed with the auto-account setup process;
- Now click on the “Finish” and then the “Close” button.
Method 2 – Manual Configuration on Outlook:
To proceed with this method:
- Go to the “File” tab of Outlook and then click on “Account Settings > New > New Account Wizard”;
- In the next window, click on the checkbox that states “Manual setup or additional server types”, then click on the “Next” button;
- Now click on “Internet Email” and then Next again;
- Now you will see a User Information tab where you have to enter your name and email-id;
- Once you are done entering the details, then choose either IMAP or POP3 from the dropdown list.
Now you need to enter the following details to configure.
Roadrunner Email Settings for POP 3 Configuration:
- Username – Roadrunner name
- Email address – Roadrunner email address
- Password – Roadrunner password
- Incoming email server – pop-server.san.rr.com or pop-server.roadrunner.com
- Outgoing email server – SMTP-server.san.rr.com or SMTP-server.roadrunner.com
- Incoming port – 110
- Outgoing port – 25
Roadrunner Email Settings for IMAP Configuration:
- Incoming email server – mail.twc.com
- Outgoing email server – mail.twc.com
- Incoming port – 993
- Outgoing port – 587
Now you need to click on the “Logon information tab” and enter the following entries in the respective fields:
- Username – Roadrunner name
- Email address – Roadrunner email address
- Password – Roadrunner password
- In the checkbox that reads “Require logon using Secure Password Authentication”, and the remember password box if you want Outlook to save your password;
- After this, click on the “OK” button and on the “Test Account Setting” option to verify that your account is set up properly;
- Now click on the “Next” and “Finish” buttons to complete the process of adding your Roadrunner email on Outlook.
